Retail Signage
Where a creative implementation of a corporate image is required, we have the in-house design ability to produce a striking result. We have years of experience to know what type of sign is suitable for what location and have dealt with local authority planning departments to ensure signs are suitable for any planning requirements or restrictions.
![]() | Khan Saab required a modern exciting design to be realised from architects sketches. UKSign were commissioned to design, manufacture and install a stainless steel and backlit neon lettered strip sign. |
Initially after discussions, we will produce scale drawings for the client or even a superimposed illustration of a proposed sign. This will make it clear to see what is recommended and also easier to understand what is trying to be achieved for planning permission approval.
This image shows part of the khan saab sign in manufacture, the panel was polished stainless steel, "saab" was routed & the panel folded. Cut acrylic letters were pushed through and set in position. The panel was internally illuminated, only the letters lit up. At night the effect was striking - the client was delighted with the result. | ![]() |
If you have a creative requirement for a single retail outlet, or indeed a number of outlets, we would be happy to take your call.
![]() | A similar sign shows "cut through" illumination. This style is currently favoured by local authorities as it shows the company name yet it reduces light pollution. The lightsource here is flourescent tubing, however a trend towards illuminating this type of sign with ultrabright low power LED modules is appearing. |
Once you have contacted us, we can arrange a site visit if needed to the premises, where we will take digital photographs and accurate measurements and check for installation access, sign power requirements and a range of site specific items that will determine the design of your sign.
