One of the most effective advertising mediums for retail outlet shop windows has to be applied vinyl graphics. Carefully applied and well designed graphics fitted to the inside of a shop window is relatively inexpensive, but gets great results. The graphics are readily removed without any damage to the glass and can be replaced on a regular basis for maximum retail effect.

The self adhesive vinyl comes in a variety of colours and there are a large range of Pantone specified colours available. There are even etched effect vinyls which can subtly blur a window or enhance it with a sophisticated look.

Another useful function of applied graphics is its ability to indicate the presence of a glass panel, which can reduce collision accidents with people or vehicles. | ![]() |
Applied vinyl can also be useful as a courtesy panel, security panel or blast reduction system for potential terror targets.

Traditional etched glass is still produced today, however it can be very expensive and is not easily replaced. It does however, have a few advantages compared to applied etch effect vinyl in that it cannot be "picked off", can offer finer detail and in certain locations is easier to clean. UKSign services will offer advice to the suitability of location for either etched effect vinyl, acid or sandblasted traditional glass.
